Juta sends friendly daily texts to your mom, your dad, or anyone you care about, and was founded by Chad Hensle in San Diego. Here's the story behind it.
Juta is named after a family member with Alzheimer's. When she was first diagnosed, the family member who lived closest showed up every single day. He rearranged his life. Made hour-long drives. Kept things together in a way most people never could.
But family members across the country were depending on one person to relay updates, and he already had his hands full. I called my mom one afternoon to check in. She hadn't heard anything in days. Not because anything was wrong. Because the person closest to the situation was too busy holding everything together to also keep everyone else informed.
That's the problem Juta solves. Not just the daily texts. The daily recap that flows back to everyone who loves that person, automatically, without asking anyone to do one more thing.
