The Juta editorial team writes about aging, caregiving, senior wellness, and the families who show up every day.
Here is some of what they have shared.
On staying connected at a distance
"My brother and I were able to know that my dad went golfing and was expecting company later in the week. That sounds small but it is everything. We knew. Without calling. Without asking."
On the messages themselves
"I actually really like getting the messages and being asked simple questions like what my favorite part of the day was. I think people would genuinely find joy in that."
On the setup experience
"Sign up was fast and easy. I was honestly surprised. I was expecting it to be complicated."
What this tells us
Three things show up in almost every conversation we have with early families. First, the information in the recap is genuinely useful, not just reassuring. People learn things about their loved one's daily life that they would not have known otherwise. Second, the recipients often respond better than expected. Third, the relief is immediate. Knowing is enough. You do not need the recap to say everything is fine. You just need it to say something.
That is what we built Juta for. It is good to know it is working.
