Last updated: April 23, 2026

Juta ("we," "us," or "our") provides a consumer wellness and family communication service that sends daily text messages to a family member of your choosing and delivers summary updates back to you. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. What Juta is, and is not

Juta is a wellness and family communication tool. Juta is not a medical device, not a clinical monitoring service, not an emergency response system, and not a HIPAA-covered service. We do not collect medical records, clinical diagnoses, or protected health information (PHI).

3. How we use information

4. Third-party services we use

Juta is built on top of a small set of trusted vendors. Your information is shared with them only as necessary to operate the service:

Each of these vendors has its own privacy practices. We encourage you to review them.

5. How we protect information

We use industry-standard practices including encrypted connections, access controls on our admin tools, and the principle of collecting only what we need. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention

We retain message logs and summary reports for up to 12 months by default so that families can look back on recent check-ins. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.

7. Your rights and choices

8. Children

Juta is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
